Board Member, Mentor, and Community Leader

Pastor Emeritus Elvin Ferguson has faithfully served in ministry for over 40 years. Ordained early in his journey, he served in leadership roles including Deacon, Elder, and Youth Director, and later as Assistant Chaplain at Cook County Jail, mentoring young men through Christ.

Alongside his wife Mary, he pastored Branch of the Vine Outreach Ministries for 17 years, leading impactful community programs in Chicago’s Chatham neighborhood. He went on to serve as Senior Pastor of New Seasons Church Chicago, continuing to share God’s love in the Englewood community.

Now honored as Pastor Emeritus, he serves on the Board of Directors at New Seasons Church and resides in Mississippi, where he continues to mentor and support pastors in his local community.
